Biemans Trophymarker | Full-color printing

On this page, we’ll help you with the installation of your ColorCube label printer (L305). We recommend you to follow the instructions below. But first, please carefully inspect the packaging and printer upon receiving the ColorCube printer and:

  • Place the printer on a flat and secure surface;
  • Connect the printer to the computer with the provided USB cable (or an ethernet cable);
  • Plug the power cord into the power cord socket at the rear end of the printer;
  • Then plug the power cord into a properly grounded power outlet and turn the power switch on.

1 | Setup your printer

The first thing to do is to setup your printer. First, you insert the ink cartridges inside your ColorCube. Next, you place your labels in your printer and then download the driver.

  1. Turn on the printer.
  2. Pull the ink cartridge cover forward to open it and wait at least 4 seconds until the internal cleaning process is complete. If you remove the ink cartridge within 4 seconds, it may start leaking.
  3. Push the ink cartridge so it moves forward.
  4. Carefully remove the ink cartridge from the printer.
  5. Gently shake the new ink cartridge package briefly. Do not shake the ink cartridge too hard and do not press the sides too firmly, as this may cause leaking.
  6. Remove the ink cartridge from the packaging.
  7. Insert the new ink cartridge with the label facing upward and push it in until it clicks into place.
  8. Close the ink cartridge cover.

  1. Open the printer using the grey lever.
  2. Slide the blue label holder to the left and place the roll of labels into the printer.
  3. Then move the blue label holder downward to lock the roll of labels in place.
  4. Make sure the correct number of air vents are open. This depends on the width of the label.
  5. Unlock the grey label guides and pull the roll of labels out over the guides.
  6. Push the grey label guides all the way against the label.
  7. Lock the label guides again.
  8. Pull the label out further.
  9. Close the printer and turn it on.

2 | Download label software

Once your printer is ready to use, you’ll need label software to start printing. With QlickPrint, you can easily design and print trophy labels with both text and images.

To use QlickPrint, activation is required. Your personal license key can be found on the flyer included in the software case. Once the installation is complete, activate your license using your personal license key.

Online activation

  1. In the menu, click File and then Activate QlickPrint
  2. Click Activate license
  3. Enter your details in the window that opens. Please note that when copying and pasting the details, there are no unnecessary spaces before or after the entered information.
  4. After filling in all fields, click the Online activation button to activate your QlickPrint license
  5. When the message Thank you for activating QlickPrint appears, the activation was successful

What if it doesn’t work?

If the online activation doesn’t work, it is likely being blocked by a firewall. In that case, you can use an alternative activation method via your smartphone.

  1. Fill in all required information and enable Smartphone activation
  2. Click the QR button
  3. Scan the QR code displayed on the screen with your smartphone
  4. A code will appear on your smartphone
  5. Close the QR code window after scanning
  6. Enter the code (including hyphens) in the License key field
  7. Click Activate

  1. Open the printer using the grey lever.
  2. Remove a Cleaning Wipe from the packaging.
  3. Carefully wipe the cutting blade with the Cleaning Wipe.
  4. Clean the air vents.
  5. Then clean the top of the printer.
  6. Close the printer and turn it on.
  7. Press and hold the Cleaning button for three seconds to put the printer into cleaning mode.
  8. Cleaning takes approximately 30 seconds to one minute.
  9. The printer is now fully cleaned.
